My Road to Lifestylz Fitness

I started in the fitness industry in November of 2000. Personal training became important to me from my experience with a personal trainer and a healthy fascination with the human Physiology and Kinesiology. While training in the Marine Corps, I suffered a horrible accident that essentially ended my Marine career. Not my first choice of an end to my service for this country, but all the same it set in motion the events that lead to who I am today. After sustaining a broken neck, I was assigned to 52 Area Fitness Center on Camp Pendleton. It was there I met a trainer who helped me through my recovery in 4 months. I have full range of motion and very little lasting side effects.

My name is Lee Lamb, and I’ve made a choice to help others as I was once helped by Private Personal Training. I attended the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) for the intensive personal training program to obtain my certification from the American Council on Exercise (ACE), which is one of the largest, most trusted names in personal training. Shortly after obtaining the ACE certification, I was given the opportunity to further my education through the Aerobic & Fitness Association of America (AFAA). With all this knowledge I was still interested and hungry for another challenge. So I decided to go for a Proctorship from the Scirion Institute of Exercise Physiology. All this time, I remained an active trainer, gaining experience through hands on training.  I have attended workshops and taken tests in order to keep my mind fresh and always learn the latest and greatest in training techniques.

I moved from Oceanside California to Oklahoma in 2006. I worked full time as a trainer during my time in California and continued to do so as soon as I arrived in Jenks.  My first job in Oklahoma was for a company that trained out of a small gym in Jenks. It was a start to get my first idea of the Tulsa fitness market. As a father, I am always looking for something better for daughter.

I came across an opportunity to manage a private personal training facility in South Tulsa. As a trainer working for someone else, this was a huge leap and a great opportunity to get to know more of the people around the area. I had clients from Haskell, Broken Arrow, Claremore, Collinsville, Owasso, Jenks, Bixby, and Sapulpa all finding out about me through friends and family. I created a loyal following of clients who all have received great service and results. These clients helped me move past just being a personal trainer for someone else and into an owner of LifeStylz Fitness, a Private Personal Training Facility at 71st and Sheridan in Tulsa.

I have trained from the young to the old, the unfit to pro athletes. Simple weight loss, toning, and muscle growth are just a few of the goals I can address. I am proficient in many different types of training and design programs based around each individual, by identifying postural instabilities and addressing those issues while moving forward to the overall goal. So if you are looking to lose weight or blow through a plateau in your current training, I may just be the trainer for you.

I take my time with each individual in order to assure the best customer service I can deliver while making sure we have fun in the process.  Being a former Marine, I understand negative reinforcement and positive motivation. By learning each client’s individual mind-set, I am able to motivate and direct them to their own personal, achievable goal. I take the work out of working out.

The first step is always the hardest to take, but I assure you that once you do, you won’t regret it. I offer a free initial consultation which takes about 30 minutes to complete. We will address your goals, medical issues, and anything else you need to cover. This will also allow you the opportunity to get to know me better.  All while touring the studio and gaining the information that you came for. I will make it easy for you to make a decision, no pressure. Just the facts.

Thank you for your interest in LifeStylz Fitness!
